Sometimes we really need to redirect URL to other domain or in the same domain but different URL. Especially, when a link has got popularity, but it really needs to redirect to another post/page or anywhere then we feel boring because it’s not normal exercise to log in often in cPanel. Usually, cPanel provides this redirection facility. But, now I going to introduce with a plugin which doing this same work without going to cPanel/hosting. This plugin name is Redirection. I have tested many similar plugins for redirect URL to others domain. I have got this plugin highest helpful. Others plugin was sometimes not working according to themes variety, but this plugin worked on that case. That’s why I recommend this plugin to use for redirect link.
Look here about this plugin: Redirection is a WordPress plugin to manage 301 redirections, keep track of 404 errors, and generally tidy up any loose ends your site may have. This is particularly useful if you are migrating pages from an old website, or are changing the directory of your WordPress installation.
Here is some review from others WordPress users:
Just works, great
I had an error 404 appearing over and over after I re-constructed my website/blog. I know nothing about redirects and this plugin was a lifesaver!
Thank you so much for it!!
The Redirection plugin does exactly what I want it to do, easy to use as well
Excellent, just use it.
Just started using it and it seems to work a treat. I am using it to redirect some searches to their equivalent tags to save resources and to prevent timeouts.
Navigation is a little confusing.
I installed this and added a redirect because the permalink for my page was changed. I got exactly what I expected which is very pleasing.
Let’s show you how to install and use it. Login to your website add new plugin then select the right files you have downloaded before some moments. Now click on upload. Wait until upload this and activate it. Now you find setting from installed plugins. This path should look like Plugins > Installed Plugins > Redirection Setting or Tools > Redirection. You will see two boxes and an Add Redirection button on the bottom of that two field, and please see the photo from above. The first field for your old link and second box used to place targeted link. Now press Add Redirection. It’s done! You can track your redirection, anytime edit or remove redirection.
Your kind comment is highly desired. Please ask me if you have any confusion or need to be clear anything.
